The bill (Reg. No. 7437) amends clause 33 of the effective Law, and entitles all people with disabilities of II and III categories (not only the unemployed) to a disability pension at the rate of retirement pension, at their own choice if they have pensionable service (not less than 25 years for men and 20 years for women).
The bill considers pensionable service and terms of insurance payment for the compulsory state pension insurance, while granting pension to the working people with disabilities of II and III categories. The Committee members are convinced that such an approach will restore social justice and mitigate social tension among the people with disabilities caused by the pension reform implementation.
